THE PERFORMANCE OF BROILER REARING IN SYSTEM STAGE FLOOR AND DOUBLE FLOOR
Abstract
This research was aimed to study the performance of broiler raising in this system. The data of performance was obtained from 100 houses which divided into two equal of house numbers (50 houses with stage floor system and 50 houses with double floor system). The obtained data was analyzed using T-test (Independent samples T-test) to see the difference in between. The result of this research showed that there were highly significant differences (P<0.01) on final weight, body weight gain, FCR, and depletion of broiler raising in different floor system. However, the different floor system did not contribute differences (P>0.05)on feed consumption. The conclusion of this research was that the performance of broiler raising at stage floor system has a better performance than those at double floor system.
